The European Quality Standard for Translation Services or EN15038:2006 was published in 2006 by the European Committee for Standardisation.

This translation quality standard aims to define quality requisites and certify translation services throughout the steps of the translation process – quality management, human and technological resources, project records, legal framework procedure, value added services and definition of terms.
